Investment Options and Administrative Assessments
Investment Option #1 – Balanced Income Pool
Asset allocation parameters are made up of the following Asset Classes: Domestic Equities with a total target of 49% with Large Cap Equities having a target of 40% and Small Cap Equities having a target of 9%; International Equities with a target of 8%; Fixed Income with a total target of 28% consisting of Domestic Fixed Income with a maximum target of 15.5%, Non-US Fixed Income with a target of 10% and High Yield Fixed Income with a target of 2.5%. Alternative Investments with a maximum target of 15% with Hedge Funds having a maximum target of 10% and Commodities/Managed Futures with a maximum target of 5%.
The Administrative Assessment for the Balanced Pool is as follows:
First $500,000 100 basis points (1.00%)
Next $500,000 50 basis points (0.50%)
>$1,000,000 25 basis points (0.25%)
This Investment is considered prudently diversified and is best suited for longer-term investors with an investment horizon greater than 7 years.
Investment Option #2 – Short Term Bond Pool
This is an option that would provide clients with liquidity and little risk of principal. This option consists of Fixed Income – Short Duration Bonds using Barclays Capital 1-2 Year Treasury Index as the evaluation Benchmark.
The Administrative Assessment for the Short Term Bond Pool is 50 basis points (0.50%) per annum.
This investment should be considered for funds held at the Community Foundation for less than six months.
